>>> 7.15–8.30pm each Thursday in September <<<
Always wanted to try fencing but haven't yet given it a go?
Fenced when you were younger and like to get back to it?
Have kids who fence and want to know that they're so excited about?
Covid making you feel like stabbing something (safely, of course)?
Have a Stab is for you!
Working with the Club's head coach (also a coach on the Australian Olympic team for Tokyo 2020) you'll get to grips with the basics of foil and epee fencing in a fun and friendly environment. At the end of the program you'll have all the skills you need to start training with the Club if you want to.
Suitable for all skills levels, ages 18+, all gear provided.
Wear long pants, closed shoes and bring a water bottle. If you have you own fencing gear (weapons, mask, protective gear) please bring that too.
Free entry for Mountains Fencing Club members (if you're an adult contact of one of the Club's under 18 members in the Club's admin system, you're a member too, so you can come for free!)
$40 for others (which provides access to all four sessions over the four weeks)
Limited numbers – to keep within venue limits, tickets are essential for ALL participants, INCLUDING for current members.
Entry is subject to participants abiding by the Club's code of conduct and COVIDSafe training guidelines.
